The market rate commission for listing a property is around 5% so the commission is split further to 2.5% for the selling agent and 2.5% for the buyer agent. At Buy Direct Realty, we will waive our seller agent portion of 2.5% if you buy your next property with us at the same time. You are only responsible for the buyer agent 2.5% portion whomever the agent will be or brokerage that they work for.
So for example if your property is worth $1 million dollars, the commission would be $50,000. With us, your savings would be $25,000 (which is 2.5% of the sale price) and you would be responsible to pay the buyer agent the 2.5% which is their portion of commission.
